((Now that her full team of pokémon is here, Leaf’s been spending ridiculous amounts of time with them, training and playing in equal amounts. Now, though, she’s back on the journals for the first time in a while, breathless as usual from excitement, hair pulled back in a very messy ponytail))

Hi, everyone! There are so many new people here lately - I just wanted to say hi to all of you! Ever since my other pokémon made it here, I’ve been spending so much time with them, I kinda lost track of you all… ((She trails off into hesitant laughter before continuing.)) But my pokémon are great! They want to meet all of you too! Say hi, Flame. ((And look! A deeply red-and-orange-colored fox jumps onto her lap and gives the journal an inquisitive sniff! Isn’t he just the cutest?))

Oh, right! I actually had a question for you guys! Have any of you seen Red lately? The one with the snorlax and venusaur? He hasn’t been around for a while - at least, I haven’t seen him around for while. Not since we came back.

Anyway. I think he might have been embarrassed because I called him cute, so if you see him, let him know that he doesn’t have to be shy about it! Or you can just tell him he should talk to me. That works too.
